I don't even know where to begin besides with the fact that in about 10 hours I will be on my first plane on my journey towards HOME. Can you believe it? This week has been a whirlwind of emotions but it has been one of the best weeks of my life...
I've had a lot of closer with people I have met and also my students. Although I was bawling like a baby when they left school today, I know they will always remember me as I will remember them. Today on my last day at school we went on a field trip to the train station. We took a train ride and the kids got to climb on old train cars and a steam engine. It was the perfect day to really enjoy the kids and take some pictures altogether. As they were lined up and getting ready to walk out at the end of the day, I walked down the line and have each of them a hug. The kids said a lot of things to me but one thing one of the boys said to me was "it's okay Ms. Kammer, when we die, we will see each other in heaven!" And that is something I will always remember :)
Tomorrow (Saturday) morning I will be waking up and leaving for the airport at 5:30 in the morning. I will have so much traveling to do but I know The Lord will be with me every step of the way. Your thoughts and prayers will definitely be appreciated :) Can't wait to land in the good ole USA!
